I would like to talk about simple answers to complex problems.

I started thinking about this yesterday. I don't mean to be silly. But, the reason many people believe the stupid way they do, and do the stupid things they do, is really simple. It is not complex.

My boss was asking me really stupid questions yesterday, and let me preface that with the fact that he is a rabid Bush and Cheney fan. And it came to me that the reason he is a rabid Bush and Cheney fan, and the reason he was asking stupid questions, was due to a simple reason.

He is really stupid.

There, that's it. Stupid is as stupid does. It really is that simple.
