Check out this op-ed from today's Chicago Tribune.

This is what is a primary concern of my DINO congresscritter, Dan Lipinski, IL 03.

This asshat is more concerned about ala carte options for cable tv than the Constitution of the US.

Now do you understand why I didn't vote for this cretin last November or why I refuse to call, write, fax or e-mail him. :argh: :argh:

1. I know why you didn't vote for him, but why let him off the hook by not calling,
writing or faxing?

I'd do it just to make him think once.

and all I get in response is crickets.

He's a POS machine politician, with the job given to him because of his Dad. I'm so missing living in Jan Schakowski's district...

6. You do realize Lipinski's got an opponent for the primary in 2008.
His name is Mark Pera. Here's his website:

http://www.markperaforcongress.com/

I didn't vote for Danny Boy in 2004 either. I was really pissed off when Bungalow Bill (his father) suddenly decided to retire in August 2004 and Lil Richie and Mike Madigan and the rest of the boys decided to put Danny Boy in his place.

But the real pisser was the stunt Danny Boy pulled in 2006. He got that sham candidate John Kelly to run in the primary against John Sullivan. Sullivan had a good shot at unseating Lipinski, until Mr. Kelly decided in December, 2005 to throw his name into the mix.

I know Kelly personally, and believe it or not he's even more stupid than Danny Boy. In fact in 2004, Kelly thought about running against Bungalow Bill as a Puke, but at the last minute decided against it, or so he claims....

I'm just wondering who Danny Boy will get to put a spoke in the wheels this time around. Kelly can't do it again, he's never filed his final reports with FEC from 2006. I guess he was too busy building his McMansion in Oak Lawn on W 89th Place....

4. Actually, "ala carte" cable and satellite might go a long ways towards...
Don't be so quick to dismiss the importance of this.

"Ala carte" cable and satellite might go a long ways
towards defunding the vast Right Wing Noise Machine.
If it were offered, the Tesha family certainly would
stop paying for Faux News, nineteen different "Christian"
propaganda outlets, and a host of other channels that
are *NOT* working in our interest.

Right now, we're forced to subsidize the anti-democratic
propaganda war if we want o watch anything more than
over-the-air TV; this would fix that.

7. Actually Tesha, Lipinski is a real right winger..
He's anti-choice, voted for the Terri Schiavo bill in 2005 and against stem-cell research this year. Best of it is, he's a Type 1 diabetic and he votes against stem-cell research... Talk about voting against your own self-interest.

One other thing, during the immigration debate, he refused to even meet with his constituents that supported it. He wouldn't even let them in his office in the 23rd Ward in Chicago. He's an asshat, pure and simple.
