2. Actually that is the logical next step - if we hadn't bogged ourselves down in Iraq
and so pissed away world opinion. That's where bin Ladin fled and that's where al-Qaeda is reforming.

5. Had we talked as tough with Musharrif as we are about Iran
--and offered him some protection for his administration, I believe al Qaeda would be a very minor threat today.

9. Do you honbestly believe Al Qaeda is a major threat to the USA?
It is great for propaganda purposes but in reality how big a threat can they actually be? More people die every three days from tobacco related causes in the USA than were killed on 9-11. That is the true threat and it is being totally ignored.

12. No, but that doesn't mean I'm ready to have tea with them either.
My husband is from that part of the world--aQ is considered a threat there.

10. This is absolutely ...
what should have happened five years ago ... All this puffy and blovating talk this jagoff did, "wanted, dead or alive" and "we are on the hunt" ... They contracted out the bulk of Afganistan to the Afganis, and didn't secure the Pakistan border, as tough as it would be, they didn't even freakin try ...

This burns my tail as much if not more than anything else with these guys ... Godddarnit, OBL was THE man behind 9-11, and I want his freakin head, seriously ...

The US had ALL the "moral" authority to get dirty on that border back then ... If they wanted to contract out Afgani's to drive him in one direction, fine, but they should have dropped the 100,000 troops now in Iraq on the Afgan/Pakistan border and gotten this MFer ...

AND, if he did happen to sneek into Pakistan, they should have given some sort of buy out, for publicity's sake, to Mousouraff (sp) or whatever, but made it clear that we were going in with or without his permission ...

If I was president, on 9-12-01 I would have made it VERY clear to security council that they had at most a half year to put OBL heads on the oval office desk, and if not, I would have cleaned house and given the next crew 3 months, and I would have kept repeating until the MFer was drummed up ... I would not have had a single day pass without letting my people know I wanted him ...

3. Haven't you heard? Impeachment is off the table. And they're keeping their powder dry.
And they don't want to leave the troops in the field without money.

4. Were * & Cheney Waiting For Osama's Bounty To Be Raised To $50 Mil.......
before they decided that they needed to go after him. I know they are greedy - but with all the $ they're making on the Iraqi situation I didn't think they would even blink at an extra $25 Mil. I guess I was wrong. (sarcasm)

7. They have OBL's obit all ready to go complete with 24/7
documentary on him, too. Instead, they'll get a #3 who they'll hit again in about four months.
:sarcasm:

At this point, nothing surprises me and just about everything they do terrifies me. Bush/Cheney have the uncanny ability to fuck everything up beyond recognition and then they have the audacity to make an appearance spraying Rose perfume over themselves.
