1. It's been enough for a long time now. Since you're asking, what are you ready to do about it?

2. No we can't impeach now.
DU does not have the power to impeach the president; hell we aren't even one of the three branches of the government. In order to impeach we would have to be the House of Representatives.

Kind of embarrassing confusing DU for the House of Representatives.

6. its been enough
since the second I heard of the domestic wire tapping.

its been enough since the second I heard of what the office of special plans did to distort the intelligence.

its been enough since the second I heard of condoning torture as the norm in interrogations.

its been enough since the second I heard of vote caging lists.

its been enough since the second I heard of reckless and deliberate war profiteering as a matter of policy.

the list goes on and on.. either impeach or the precedent is set its all legal.

7. Enough excuses, already...IMPEACH NOW!
RFK Jr. said in an interview (just posted on our website today) that "We should impeach Bush as a civics lesson."

Beautiful. Love that!

He added that we must do this as a way to send a message and "say to the American people that America doesn’t torture people. We do not intercept the telephone conversations of hundreds of thousands of American citizens illegally.

“You can’t just tear up the Bill of Rights,” he said. “He has to be impeached. The American people have to remember how sacred the Constitution of the United States is.”

8. asking in the wrong place.
you have to ask the corrupt democratic leadership about that. preferably after about a year of the same treatment that detainees in gitmo get. Or whatever place they now send people they want to torture into confessing to any crimes they want them to confess too.

9. can I be undecided????
Why does everything have to be so black and white when it comes to impeachment?

There are pros and cons to the whole process like anything else, but why does this debate have to be brought down to such a low level with name calling?

15. WHAAAAAAAAAA we don't have enough votes
Edited on Fri Jul-20-07 04:35 PM by radfringe
here's the basic argument: WHAAAAAAAAAAA, we don't have the votes. The American People don't want us to waste time. They want us to work on more important things.

here's the WHAAAAAAAAAmbulance

Don't have the votes? Waste Time? What the hell do you think you are doing now? Every piece of legislation of any substance is being blocked by the freaking republics, yet you still introduce it. Hell, you stayed up all night in your jammies even though you knew and the AMERICAN people knew the Iraq bill wouldn't be allowed a vote. What do you call that?

More important things? What's more important than upholding the constitution? What's more important than taking our country back? Is renaming a freaking post office the Fred-Smed memorial Post office more important than restoring our country, our honor, our dignity?
