I shook hands with Barack Obama this morning!
At a rally in Manchester. He took questions from the public for about an hour. It was beautiful. By the time I got there, it was SRO; all different types of people--white, black, hispanic, asian, young, old. There was an electricity in the air. I plan on meeting all the democratic candidates this year. (Who knows how long NH will have the first primary?). Lots of fun.

4. How cool is that? I'll never get to meet any of them because Iive in Georgia.
I did see Al Gore when he ran for VP the first time. He spoke at UGA and was announced and welcomed by Athens' own Michael Stipe! There was a HUGE crowd (thousands of people) at the outdoor plaza where Gore spoke. He was like a rock star!

5. Did he say NO Residual Troops to be Left in Iraq?
NHPR reported something like that this morning. If he did, he's changed his position for the better.

8. He did not say no residual troops...
He stressed the fact that the troops in Iraq could be in Afghanistan right now, countering the growth of extremists there and actually looking for Bin Laden.
