photoshoppers, what's wrong with this Bush picture?
Could the image-tools savvy please tell us what is going on with the image accompanying this WaPo article? The photo of Bush and his hand gestures, perhaps taken from the Rand report mentioned in the article, seems to be a double exposure. In fact across the front of Bush's coat is a kind of faded image of what looks like a saxophone. I don't have all those Photoshopping thangs on my computer so I thought I would throw this out to the world. What gives? Or am I imagining things?

Also could someone attach the photo to this thread? I don't know how to do that either.

2. I think it could be a grab from video, last frame of a dissolve

You are not imagining the saxaphone, or the double exposure/dissolve.
My guess is video grab -step through a videotape or tivo/PVR if you have one, and you will see what I mean....

On edit: The jpeg has both the hook'em horn" image and the eyes in one jpeg. The OP is talkin' about the top image here.

3. I'm thinking it's a parade
and you are seeing the reflection of a marching band member in the plexi-glass wall that's in front of fuck-face.

4. It's a reflection...looks like there's about 2 feet of bulletproof glass between him and
the marching band he's signalling at. Here's another shot:

It's a weird security measure certainly...how big was that sheet of glass protecting him from insurgent instrumentalists?

His face certainly looks demonic in that WaPo photo though, doesn't it?

5. He's behind a large sheet of glass
and you are seeing reflections on the glass. You can see the frame running down the center of the photo. It's like the ballroom scene from the Haunted Mansion...

6. did a cut/paste to photo bucket
here's the pic:

not sure of where the photographer was standing, but if you notice the verticle line in the center of the pic, it almost looks like a window divider. If the pic was taken from one side of the window, the distortions you see could be due to glare/reflection of the glass
