The Militarization and Annexation of North America
The Militarization and Annexation of North America

by Stephen Lendman
Thursday, July 19, 2007

Besides the Bush administration's imperial aims and permanent war on the world, add the one at home below the radar. Its weapons include the WTO, NAFTA, Department of Homeland Security (DHS), FBI, CIA, NSA, NORTHCOM, militarized state and local police, National Guard forces, paramilitary mercenaries like Blackwater USA, and all other repressive instruments of state power and control. They target the people of three nations slowly becoming one headquartered in Washington. That's the apparent aim of those in power here wanting one continent, "indivisible" minus old-fashioned ideas like "liberty and justice for all" we used to believe in when, as kids, we recited our "Pledge of Allegiance." They now have a whole new meaning. They're just words drummed into young minds hoping they'll still believe them when they're old enough to know better.

There may be a greater scheme for the planet ahead, but this article only focuses on what we know about and how it's unfolding so far. It has a name, in fact, several, but they all aim for the same thing - one nation, indivisible, where three sovereign ones once stood, headquartered in Washington.

The Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP) or "Deep Integration" North American Union

SPP was formerly launched at a March 23, 2005 meeting in Waco, Texas attended by George Bush, Mexico's President Vincente Fox and Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin. It's a tri-national agreement hatched below the radar in Washington containing the recommendations of the Independent Task Force of North America. That's a group organized by the powerful US Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), Canadian Council of Chief Executives (CCCE), and Mexican Council on Foreign Relations. It advocates greater US, Canadian and Mexican economic, political, social, and security integration with secretive working groups formed to devise non-debatable agreements that, when completed, will be binding beyond the power of legislatures to change. It's also taking shape without public knowledge or consideration...

RCMP, U.S. Army block public forum on the Security and Prosperity Partnership

July 11, 2007

The Council of Canadians has been told it will not be allowed to rent a municipal community centre for a public forum it had planned to coincide with the next Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) summit in Montebello, Quebec on August 20 and 21.

The Municipality of Papineauville, which is about six kilometres from Montebello, has informed the Council of Canadians that the RCMP, the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) and the U.S. Army will not allow the municipality to rent the Centre Communautaire de Papineauville for a public forum on Sunday August 19, on the eve of the so-called Security and Prosperity Partnership Leaders Summit.

“It is deplorable that we are being prevented from bringing together a panel of writers, academics and parliamentarians to share their concerns about the Security and Prosperity Partnership with Canadians,” said Brent Patterson, director of organizing with the Council of Canadians. “Meanwhile, six kilometres away, corporate leaders from the United States, Mexico and Canada will have unimpeded access to our political leaders.”

As well as being shut out of Papineauville, the Council of Canadians has been told that the RCMP and the SQ will be enforcing a 25-kilometre security perimeter around the Chateau Montebello, where Stephen Harper will meet with George W. Bush and Felipe Calderón on August 20 and 21. According to officials in Montebello, there will be checkpoints at Thurso and Hawkesbury, and vehicles carrying more than five people will be turned back.

5. Terror and the slicing of the pie.
"The terrorist attacks on the United States of September 11th, 2001, and the ensuing disruption of North American commerce and travel have served as a reminder of the vulnerability to terrorism our three interdependent nations share. The ability of our societies to persevere and adapt to the 21st century security environment will depend on the degree to which we can extend our fruitful collaboration in the economic sphere to the domain of North American security. Future security arrangements need to be adaptive as well as anticipatory to provide an enduring environment within which the economic and cultural dynamism of North America can be sustained."

Doomsday Clock

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skV5N4hN2qo

Is everyone afraid?
Is everyone ashamed?
Their running torwards their holes to find out
Apocalyptic thieves
Are lost amongst our dead
A message to our friends, to get out

There's wagers on this fear
Ooh, ooh so clear
Depends on what you'll pay to hear

They're bound to kill us all
In white-washed halls
The jackals lick their paws

Please don't stop
It's lonely at the top
These lonely days
Will they ever stop?
This doomsday clock
Tickin' in my heart, not broken

I love life everyday, each and every way
Khafka would be proud to find out
I'm certain of the end, it's the means that has me spooked
It takes an unknown truth to get out
I guess that I'm born free, c'est le ve
I was meant to beg from my knees

Please don't stop
It's lonely at the top
These lonely days
Will they ever stop?
This doomsday clock
Tickin' in my heart
These lonely days, will they ever stop?

Gotta dig in
Gasmasks on
Wait in the sunshine overhead
If this is living, sakes alive
Well then we can't win, no one survives

Is everyone afraid?
You should be ashamed
Apocalyptic screams mean nothing to the dead
Kiss your little son to know all there is
C'mon, last call!
You should want it all!

It's lonely at the top
These lonely days, will they ever stop
This doomsday clock
These lonely days, will they ever stop
It's tickin' in my heart
Is everyone afraid?

6. This thing has had me spooked for several years now.
I don't like it one bit and it is very scary.

Personally I am screwed if that big superhighway ever goes through and I believe that is part and parcel of this plan. One of the major staging areas is about 1 1/2 miles from my farm where I am almost done building my house. It is an Air Force Base used by the National Guard when we have any ;) here. I can only imagine what is going to happen out here in the country when that thing fires up.

Anyway, we all need to read about this and keep up with it and write to anyone who represents you every chance you get. Some of them will tell you it is all conspiracy but you have the links and the sites are real and this one should prove beyond any doubt what is happening with the superhighway. http://www.nascocorridor.com/

8. As citizens its our duty to be ever vigilant
We always have to be on watch for the enemy from within and without. Most people only look out past the borders. A case can certainly be made that our enemies are already here.
