Christine Jennings announces she will run again for the Florida house seat stolen from her

Sarasota Democrat Christine Jennings is going to run again for the 13th Congressional District seat.

In a move that was widely anticipated, Jennings announced Thursday that she will again seek the seat she is convinced she won eight months ago.

"For those of you who have watched me during the last eight months, and for those of you who have known me for years, you know that when I make a commitment I keep it," Jennings, 61, a retired banker, told about 100 flag-waving supporters at a restaurant in northern Sarasota.

Rep. Vern Buchanan, 56, R-Longboat Key, won the November election by 369 votes, but Jennings has disputed the results because 18,000 Sarasota County voters who went to the polls did not have a vote registered in the race.

"I didn't lose," Jennings said in an interview after her speech. "I just don't have the seat."

1. Hopefully she can win it beyond a shadow of a doubt...
She's a way better pick than Buchanan, and it would suck to see the election stolen out from under her.

3. Yes, Yes, Yes, don't give into vote thieves
don't let them get away with stealing the vote and then grabbing the reins of power.
