Church Leader Faces Charges In Sex Assault of 15-year old Girl
Edited on Sat Jul-21-07 07:53 PM by Bluebear
MIDWEST CITY, Okla. July 21, 2007 -- An arrest warrant has been issued for a church deacon accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old church member. Orlando Javier Wynn, a deacon at Divine Wisdom Worship Center, faces five counts of second-degree rape, six counts of forcible oral sodomy and one count of lewd acts with a child.

Wynn, 39, remained at large late Friday. His bail is set at $580,000, according to Oklahoma County District Court records...

Manning said Wynn trained for two years to be a church deacon and was considered one of the most trusted officials at the church.

The 15-year-old victim told investigators Wynn approached her in October after a youth meeting at the church and asked her to e-mail him nude photographs of herself, according to court documents filed by prosecutors. Wynn took the girl to a park during several school lunch hours and assaulted her, prosecutors allege.

1. "Wynn took the girl to a park during several school lunch hours "
And nobody wondered what was up.

Well, we know what was "up", don't we?

Sick bastard. Oklahoma law is serious on this shit as long as it is a off-reservation thing.

2. Given the penchant....
...for pedos and rapists to ingratiate themselves within the confines of churches, I think churches should be required to post warning labels on all their doors:

WARNING!!!!
Entry into this building may subject you and/or your family members to sexual assault.

5. Good question
but sadly, these stories keep coming because evil is so rampant everywhere you turn. The best way to deal with something like this is to keep a very watchful eye on those who get near your children, no matter how trustworthy they claim to be.
