I consider hate to be extremely passionate. I do hate, but I only hate people who have already betrayed my trust. I'm very selective about who I hate, but the one qualifier is they have to have held a place in my heart at one point in time.

I never trusted Cheney, I never even liked him. Thus, I despise him rather than hate.

Yes, I HATE Dick Cheney, but you know what? When he dies, I'll hold my tongue. I certainly won't mourn his death, but I won't celebrate it either. As when Falwell and Reagan died, I'll hold my tongue. Sometimes, silence speaks volumes. I want his death to speak volumes about his life--not about me.
