The reason Lil' Timmy and Meet The Press RARELY have Feingold on!
I think it is obvious that the reason Russ Feingold is not a more regular guest on the Sunday morning political shows is that he represents views of Liberals too well. In addition, he is ALWAYS preprared. YOu can also tell that Lil' Timmy is much less aggressive knowing that a guy like Feingold is a formidable Liberal that can and will fight back.

Brooks is on right now babbling about how great Bush is and other assorted nonsense.

2. I watched the interview.
Russert never asked any follow up questions. He couldn't do so because Feingold had him in a corner.

3. He and SHUMER are just incredibly outstanding. I've wondered why
some, less impressive senators and others are drawn to being candidates and are accepted as such, while these SOLID types stay away?

4. But Brooks got an close-up interview with the Prez
that's worth his undying loyalty, and the president is a tower of self confidence.

The issue here is not the president, Mr. Brooks. Iraq has been trashed and the Gulf Coast is in ruins.
The people of the US and Iraq are angry and frustrated. Just keep concentrating on one single issue:
Bush's well being and confidence. That will really fulfill your role as the media.

5. I loved how Woodward basically got Brooks to admit he pulled a number out of his ass.
What a complete tool.

6. It reminds me of the old gospel song
he could have called 10,000 angels

How do you get numbers based on a "guess." If the Maliki government is not stable and is not
seen as a "legitimate" government of the Iraqi people then propping it up serves what useful purpose.
