Is there something Bill "Deluded Moron" Kristol knows....
...that we should all know? Afterall, he took the Acela from NY to DC recently instead of the myriad number of flights from LGA to DCA. My G-2 detector is off the scale. Here's the link to the original DU post:

2. Hey, he knows ALL KINDS OF THINGS ...
... we don't know, like: The war in Iraq will pay for itself, establishing a democatic government after the fall of Baghdad will be quick and relatively easy, there is no reason to think that there is bad blood between the Shia and the Sunnis, etc.

It's like the guy just KNOWS EVERYTHING, huh?

4. I work the NY/DC corridor
And I will take the train over air traffic all day long and twice on Sunday.

Much less fuss, MUCH more comfortable and much less time involved from street to seat.

6. That too
If you are in Midtown, you are blocks from Penn Station as opposed to the 45 minute treck out to La Guardia.

9. Don't forget you can be in contact with the rest of the world
the whole time you are on the train. Internet/phone/ etc. Also, they have electrical outlets if your batteries die.

You can get three hours of work done on the train versus maybe a half an hour if you fly. Sounds like a no-brainer to me.

14. It is illegal to use cell phones
and air plane phones are ungodly expensive. I think the people dying in a crash didn't care about either problem but in usual circumstances one does.

12. I doubt he's the kind of guy who practices what he preaches ..
... for example, I haven't heard about him participating in any of these wars he's always clamoring for.
