DU GROUP PROPOSAL: Editorial Cartoons Group

I've seen so many threads with TOON in the subject line - and I have wanted to bookmark so many of those threads because the toons are so hilarious.

But it is sometimes difficult to track DU's many funny TOON threads. Well today I'm proposing a solution: The DU Editorial Cartoons Group.

Proposed mission statement is as follows:

The mission of the DU Editorial Cartoons Group is to share, view, and discuss editorial cartoons and cartoonists. This group serves as a compendium for editorial cartoons.

Cartoons shared in this group may cover any topic, but should deal at least partially with politics.

Those who have multiple cartoons to share are encouraged to post all of their cartoons in a single thread as opposed to starting multiple threads at a time with one cartoon each.

1. I love the idea.

I get such a kick when I happen to see someone post toons here on DU. But, I am sure I miss most of them while not on line. I would love to be able to view them in one place and maybe post one of my own here and there. Good suggestion.

4. While many cartoons are humorous, we all know that some aren't.

Those that aren't would, of course, be inappropriate for the Humor Group.
