Castleberry total (to date) recalled food list
Edited on Sun Jul-22-07 11:57 PM by Whoa_Nelly
Grandkidlets sat (played ;) ) today and found an unopened 6-can pack of Cattle Drive Chili in the pantry at son and DIL's house today.

Figured I should check it, and saw it was manufacuted by Castleberry.

Went to their list, and found it's on the recall list.

Thank goodness they hadn't eaten any of it yet!
They're taking it back to the store for a refund.

The Castelberry list link as from the company site:

1. I ate a can of Thrifty Maid Chili Dog Sauce last week.
I checked the remaining 2 cans in my pantry today. Yep, same stuff.

I had a cook-out for a lot of friends last week, mainly shellfish, and figured I'd throw a few dogs on the grill for anyone who didn't like crab legs, clams, mussels, or shrimp. Luckily, I didn't have to.

Little do they know, how close to death they came.

3. Everyone should check that list- there's an awful lot of products there!
I know for a fact I've had at least 4 of those
items at various times; castleberry's and Kroger brands.

Luckily, I didn't get any of the bad ones.
