Twelve Steps for Congress toward Impeachment (from Patriots Anonymous)

1.) We admitted we were powerless over George W. Bush and Richard B. Cheney--that our government had become unmanageable.

2.) Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore our nation to sanity.

3.) Made a decision to turn our will and our actions over to the care of The American People as we understood them.

4.) Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.

5.) Admitted to The American People, to ourselves, and to another member of Congress the exact nature of our wrongs in enabling this crisis.

6.) Were entirely ready to remove all members of defective character in the Executive Branch according to the will of The American People.

7.) Humbly asked The American People for their support in removing the offenders from office.

8.) Made a list of all persons that had been harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all.

9.) Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.

10.) Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.

11.) Sought to improve our conscious contact with The American People as we understood Them, praying only for knowledge of Their will for us and the power to carry that out.

12.) Having had a political awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to others, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

1. The American People re-elected them

Did you just forget that part?

What is required is some good old Al-Anon detachment - "put the focus on ourselves". That means stop staying entangled in their insanity, pick up and move on. The saner you become, the more obvious their craziness becomes. Whenever you're entangled with crazy people, you are always going to look just as crazy as they are.

Move forward. End the war. Tackle climate change. Improve working conditions. Move the people out of the insanity. Then they will be able to hear the crimes when they're told, and be strong enough to go through the process of accountability.

3. Americans did not re-elect them: Exit Polls and Ohio.

And they SURE have buyer's remorse even if they did.

9. 42% still think the war was right

I posted that yesterday. That's from a July poll. We are still living in cuckooville, we've still got minds to change.

7. Move forward. End the war. Tackle climate change

Yep we see how effective they are at doing those things don't we. does the word veto mean anything to you?

8. Yeah, the obvious insanity of Republicans

Make them do that on all sorts of sane legislation the people want. That's how you break through the remaining denial the people have about this administration.

2. How Appropriate! Especially Since Lying To Oneself and Others

is the signature action of those in need of such programs.

Congress lied to America, took oaths they have no intention of upholding, and think they are such noble and patriotic public servants! Well, time for an Intervention of historic magnitude.
