33. Pervasive corporate propaganda on the airwaves is the reason.
But people of average intelligence catch on after awhile.

6. Whoah! He's really sinking like a rock at this point.
Republic campaign contributions have dropped along with the Pretzeldent's poll numbers.

That said, I know quite a few of the 25% who still practically worship Bush* and his cabal. Mostly they include business executives (lawyers, bankers, CPAs, etc) real estate developers, real estate investors, former oil executives and former members of the US armed forces.

from a Bush Preznitcy.

That's about all anyone has. "The Dow is up! Military contracts are up! Iraq is a windfall!"

Which is another way of saying, as more people catch on that they're getting screwed, financially, it'll dwindle to 20% or less.

But he won't resign, and he won't leave unless he's carried out. We all know that now.

If the Democrats lose this election then they are losers who deserve to lose. The Republican nominee must be given the middle name of "Bush" If the Democrats lose I will start calling them the "Democrat Party".

22. The Repiglickins Still Own the Media, the Churches, and the Voting Machinez
We didn't deserve to "lose" in 2000 and 2004.
We don't deserve to lose or get robbed again next year either.

Unfortunately, they still own the media, the churches, and the voting machinez
and none of Bush**'s unpopularity is rubbing off on Repiglickin candidates,
who only trail ours by a few points.

13. Rule By "The Base"
Be assured this regime ignores these numbers...they don't care what a Majority of the Americans think...they only care about THEIR "majority"...50% of those 25% dead-enders.

As far as this regime is concerned, they've been a big success...the rich have gotten richer, the military industrial complex has unfettered access to the U.S. Treasury, the oil company stocks and stockholders are buying new Hummers and the entire Federal Government has been made a subsidiary of the repugnican party.

23. We had daily polls asking about a Clinton impeachment......
even though it was consistently made clear that a majority didn't think it was warranted. When a majority thinks this criminal administration should be impeached, our press doesn't want to ask the question.

16. BUT...among Repugs in Survey ..68% Approve of way Bush is handling job!
(One wonders how this can be unless they are all MSM Owners, Wall Street Pundits or Fundamental Evangelical Christians. I guess the 26% of Repugs who disapprove are what used to be known as the Rockefeller Repugs) :eyes:

Among Republicans (30% of adults registered to vote in the survey), 68% approve of the way Bush is handling his job and 26% disapprove. Among Democrats (37% of adults registered to vote in the survey), 1% approve and 97% disapprove of the way Bush is handling his job. Among independents (33% of adults registered to vote in the survey), 18% approve and 79% disapprove of the way Bush is handling his job as president.

Overall, 23% of Americans say that they approve of the way George W. Bush is handling the economy, 73% disapprove, and 4% are undecided. Among registered voters, 23% approve and 72% disapprove of the way Bush is handling the economy.

32. What are we worried about
1. An escalated war in Iraq;
2. That same war widened to Iran;
3. The further erosion of civil liberties;
4. God forbid that something should happen to the Frat Boy and then we get the Big Dick (you should realize that when anybody here talks about impeachment, we refer to a double feature);
5. Whatever other mischief they can get into;
6. A future tyrant stumbling into the White House believing that if Bush could do it, it must be OK for him to do it.
