I am so proud of DU - so much wonderful work & thoughtful discussion

I just had to throw out a compliment to this community. I have had my disagreements with people on the site, & I know people have had them with me. But, always, people engage in thoughtful debate, write amazing commentary, and break down the most complex issues of the day into understandable & logical analysis.

As of late, I have seen an increasing unity in the committment to stop the Bush administration, and a remarkable new set of efforts to help achieve this goal.

I couldn't be prouder to be part of this community. It is where I always come when I need answers & sanity; it is where I come when I need advice or input on political issues.

I am registered at a large number of progressive & democratic sites, and they do amazing work, but none offer a community as rich, varied, & intellectual then DU.

I am grateful to this site, and all its members. Though we may not always agree on methods, it can not be clearer we agree on the ends.
