Does Fred Thompson not want to reveal how much he is getting OR who is funding him?

From the Conservative Idiots this morning.

Fred Thompson is "testing the waters" when it comes to his Presidential Campaign. This allows him to hide his funding basically.

I was wondering after I read this:

Is he hiding how much he is getting?

OR

Is he hiding who he is receiving money from?

1. Probably both.

And I'll bet that the "who" is something he wants to
keep hidden from the other Repubs as much as us. I have
a feeling he's getting a lot of cash from sources that
are PUBLICLY supporting other candidates, but hedging
their bets by funding Thompson.

I don't see why it's one or the other.
