Poll question: Are Congressional Democrats who don't support impeachment Bush Enablers?
Or, to put it another way, is it fair to describe Congressional Democrats who don't support impeachment Bush Enablers?

Full Disclosure, I am doing this in part to see if two other polls of mine get immediately kicked.

4. I thought about asking that question; but decided to limit it to congress right now
But obviously a good counterpart would be "Are Members of DU who don't support impeachment Bush Enablers" or something like that.

8. Do you think people who have the wrong idea on impeachment
really belong at the same website as those of you noble souls who favor it?

9. Thank you. Not only are we noble souls, but we're way ahead of the curve.
What does wanting people to post somewhere else have anything to do with impeachment?

Isn't treason a defined crime with a set penalty?

20. why execute them when they could be spending the rest of their lives
Edited on Tue Jul-24-07 09:47 AM by zonmoy
in a prison with the neocons, christofascists and other thugs that make up the cabal. I figure having them all powerless and imprisoned would be horrible enough for them to wish they had been executed. Perhaps we should also have people who have been hurt by them guard them. torture victims guarding their former tormentors would be a good idea.

21. Ah - you see Treason is a capital crime so I was curious about that
So you favor imprisoning, what, 3/4 of the current elected officials?

That doesn't seem practical.

22. what percentage of the current population of our planet is already either
incarcerated for drug and other consensual crimes or have been denied the vote permanently for having been imprisoned. perhaps releasing such criminals and legalizing drugs and prostitution and other of those kinds of crimes would make plenty of room for the criminal politicians.

23. Two seperate issues
The impracticality of imprisoning our political leaders has more to do with political realities than with prison space; hell we are talking, at most, a thousand people. Plenty of room for them somewhere or other.

24. I figure it will happen after the inevitable insurrection
after the declaration of martial law and the ultimate destruction of our constitutional democracy that the cabal and their enablers in the democratic party will create.

26. right now the people have been manipulated into thinking that
the restrictions on liberties are all right as long as it is others liberties that are restricted. I figure once they figure out that in allowing the rights of others to be removed they have fucked themselves over they will rise up and do whatever they have to get their rights back. either that or the rest of the world will have to rise up and do it for us. either way I very much doubt that the cabal will be able to stop the inevitable resistance to it that will occur.

Would you mind explaining yourself, and what relevance Free Masonry has to this current discussion?

not many on this board are more radical than me, but pursueing impeachment is a waste of time and energy better spent on opposing the entire neo-con agenda rather than trying to get a brainless figurehead out of office.

15. impeachment would attack the entire neocon agenda
since it would put the executive on notice that grabbing all the power and turning us into a tyranny wont be tolerated.
