In the life of this republic the Democratic party decided NOT to impeach President Ronald Wilson Reagan over Iran Contra. The bet back then was that the people would elect Walter Mondale President since they were fed up.

The bet worked, didn't it? No it did not and we both know it. The leadership is playing the same stupid game again. And as I told over letter to Chairman Dean, if you persist in not impeaching, the 2008 elections have been lost already, and it does not mater who the candidate is... the Republicans will take the White House and both houses again.

I shudder at that future, but the choice is in your hands. Do the right thing, or loose that power.

Of course the choice is also between the Republic, where loyalty is to the nation, or the Republican dream of Empire and loyalty to the king.
