Some ignorant mofos will even scoff at liberal arts educations and/or liberal arts colleges now as if that's a bad thing. Why did we let the bullies like Gingrich and Lott make us ashamed of the fine tradition of liberalism that made this country great?it was liberalism that wrote the constitution and the first ten amendments and it was liberalism that opened the way west and it wasliberalism that ended slavery and it was liberalism that got us out of the depression and won WWI and WWII.
