The thing that gave me a chuckle was that thats from the Declaration of Independence. Not the Constitution. If you made a republican read the preamble to the Constitution they would insist it was some communist plot.

28. Funny thing about that "promote the general welfare" bit.
I guess the self-centered little freepers have no problem with standing next to a guy in line at the post office who has undiagnosed drug resistant TB; undiagnosed because he can't afford a trip to the doctor. Oh, and sick children are much easier to educate than healthy ones, aren't they? And a sick work force makes the US much more competitive in the world, doesn't it? :puke:

I know. I moderate a non-political discussion board, and sometimes it creeps in anyway. It takes all my willpower not to call out people who say things like "everything Michael Moore does is slanted and he doesn't check his facts." Flame wars started by mods are a big no no. So all I did was ask if she had seen Sicko. No reply as of yet.
