4. Oh, as an aside...
I live in the Dallas metroplex, and everyone from the years of Clinton bashing hate
Hillary..... So, she can never win the South, and to be honest, the only reason I am
against her is because I don't want to see this in history books....

Bush
Clinton
Clinton
Bush
Bush
Clinton
?

Plutocracy sucks...

:spank:

But, Edwards won't be getting my vote come primary time. Now, if he gets the nom...he'll get 100% of me.

9. After tonight's debate, I just want to scream.
I got interrupted by a phone call, but I heard someone saying that it would take at least a year to pull our troops out. I'm sick of this damned attitude that the grownups know how things really work. It's machismo bull crap. I want them home, NOW!

10. If Democrats get elected....
They will pull 100,000 troops out + 75,000 "contractors", but we will still have a footprint there.....

The military industrial complex will guarntee that,

But, with a winning Democratic ticket, Gitmo, Torture, and the politicazation of the Justice Department should be gone....

I would call that a big win...

Edited on Mon Jul-23-07 10:13 PM by TankLV
Sorry, Edwards, gay bigot and homophobe, is off my list for GOOD...

Don't even get me started about the religious freak Obama and his "beliefs" either...

21. It seems to me
that Edwards, at least, is more forthcoming about his belief. What I didn't like was Obama's convoluted answer. Some DUers actually came away saying he's for gay marriage! That's exactly the kind of confusion he wants. Edwards and Obama are the same on this issue.

25. I agree...
and for me, I think as long as all equal benifits and health care is involved, it shouldn't matter what they call it. what matters is equal rights.....

And, if in 2045 Garrige is the happening thing, maybe Hilton's and Lachy's kids will embrace it....

Everthing takes time in society, and the Creation Center in Kansas isn't helping, so boycott those beeyatchs.......

27. I agree... and it's ALSO a position that "triangulates" the marginally homophobic electorate.
Don't get me wrong - I have absolutely NO willingness to throw anyone to the wolves. My favorite is still Kucinich and he's got the position that I advocate. "Equal" has never been the same as "separate but equal." But I have confidence that an Edwards adminstration would make virtually identical progress in this area as a Kucinich administration ... and Elizabeth Edwards will have a LOT of continuing influence on John.

23. It's interesting how DU'ers won't say who they support....
Or what they think of plutocracy in this thread....

Just attack the ticket I proposed.... in reality, think of who you really want out
of the viable candidates representing you....
