performance was amazing. He had something for everyone but I just don't think he will "be allowed" to break into the first-tier candidates.
So...
The thing is, I have a history with Hillary. I lived in Arkansas before the Clintons ever hit the scene and I was a Clinton gubenatorial supporter and was honored as a Young Democrat to host them for dinner during a campaign swing through Conway when I was in college there. And until now, I've never commented on her on this board. I've always liked her and I supported her efforts to solve healthcare issues, an effort highlighted in Michael Moore's SICKO.
The reason I don't comment about Hillary Clinton is because I've been familiar with her for so long that I feel I'm biased by it and didn't really want that to be the reason I support her candidacy. I REALLY want to vote in 2008 based on the BEST person for the job, not because I happen to have such a long familiarity with her.
Tonight, I feel that what I've seen in Hillary is the evolution of a true leader. That is not to say that none of the other candidates don't have their good points. They do. But as to which candidate is the BEST person for the job, I think now that I have to say that Hillary Clinton has evolved over the years into a very capable leader.
As such, I think I might have to alter my stategy. After tonight's debate, my choice for the best ticket is Clinton/Kucinich, with respect to my brother Dennis.
