5. For once I agree with Cavuto.
His exact quote is "I'm dumb enough to see more people liberated under this president than any president."

That's right, Neil. You're astonishingly dumb.

11. I thought the collapse was caused
by Ronnie Raygun waving his fist at them and calling them the "evil empire", and, oh yeah, Star Wars.

12. The Soviet Union collapsed
internally, from policies originating from Mikhail Gorbachev's "glasnost" and "perestroika".

Ronnie Raygun had nothing to do with that fact. He had a chance to disarm both sides at Rekjavik and he refused. As a US President, he was an abject failure in thought and in deed.

I can't figure out how anyone can determine who is liberated or not, because the basic definitions have been twisted into perverse meanings, i.e., torture is not "cruel and unusual punishment".

I would say the Iraqi people were fundamentally better off under Saddam than they are now in the midst of a civil war.

14. I guess I need to use this in my posts:
:sarcasm:

I know Reagan didn't cause the Soviet Union to collapse. :eyes: It's just that this has become wingnut conventional wisdom, which Cavuto seems to be contradicting now.

13. what could he mean? Silly statement
You know I think if Bush really thinks the Middle East can be a dem. he is right but we will hardly do it. The Middle East will become a dem. place in its own way and time and not at the end of a gun and Bush may as well face it. He will not be riding down Broadway on a white horse. He has not freed the Middle East people. I think he has set it back. Face it, these people will do as they want and until we leave and let them do it on their own the nut cases will have some one to aim at and use to their ends.. One wonders how Turkey got so far with out us. The Middle East countries are just going to have to step up and do something for them self. It is where they live.

16. If by "liberated"
He means that their souls have been released from their corporeal bodies, Bush is definitely in the running. Aside from that he's just a stupid corporatist asshole. Cavuto that is. Bush is just an idiot.

19. Even for Fox Noise, Cavuto seems unusually stupid to me.
Every time I mistakenly see him on the Noise, he is whining about some idiotic thing and flinging Karl Rove talking points a mile a minute. He comes across as a total ass.
