Where Russ Feingold is coming from--what you should know

A new biography of Russ Feingold is being released, titled Feingold: A New Democratic Party. Wisconsin Public Radio had an excellent interview with the author today. Although I've worked and voted for Russ three times now and followed his work in the Senate, I learned a lot and gained a new appreciation of him as a politician and a human being. It tells how he came from far behind in the polls with very little money to win the primary in 1992 against two opponents, the incumbent congressman and a well-placed businessman. For those who don't know the story, I don't want to spoil it for you, but if you read it you'll come away smiling.
