What is the illness that seems to effect every Democratic presidential candidate of the last 25 year
and makes them think people under the age of 30 are going to go and vote? Is it individual? Do each one of them think "I will be the one they actually bother to go vote for, I just know it," and then wastes resources on them?

1. The under-30 group has been a big disappointment
Been the same for 30 years or so. I think only a draft would get their attention (my kids included).

2. Who knows how many under 30 voters vote. We don't even know
how many people vote.

5. I bet it's every bit as accurate as the vote count.
I almost said "as the actual vote count", but no one actually sees the votes being counted.

6. They are very accurate
Have you never been involved in election day campaigning?

You select your voting stations and a people check off everyone who votes on the master voter roll. If your election is small enough you cover every station and you should know how everyone who votes is going to vote from phone banking and canvasing.

4. hey now - as someone with a LOT of under 30 friends
I know a TON of people who are under 30 and vote passionately, and I have voted in every election since I was 18. I'm not sure what the answer is, but especially in the last few elections, I wonder if many of the under 30 votes are simply purged, especially in light of vote caging (ie: they tend to be renters and move).
