The Corporate Bill of Responsibilities
Corporations are artificial constructs through which a group of people promise to provide goods or services to the people of this Union in exchange for a license to do business here. It is NOT qualified to be treated as if it's a person and has no rights other than the right to do business as long as it acts according to this list of responsibilies.

These responsibilities are not negotiable, but are actually the minimum requirements needed to retain the license to do business in the public sphere.

1. A corporation is responsible for producing products and services that serve the public good with as little threat to safety and health as possible. Knowing acts that violate this responsibility is grounds for the revocation of the license to do business, confiscation of profits (subtracting funds owed to shareholders and other holders of debt) and harsh fines levied upon the officers of said corporation.

2. A corporation is responsible not only to its stockholders, but to the consumers that use its products or services.

3. A corporation is responsible to act in a way that reflects its license to act in the public sphere as something that has been granted by the PEOPLE.

4. A corporation is responsible for making sure its products and services do not cause lasting damage to the environment and for any cleanup made necessary by any mistakes in this area. Knowing violation of this responsibility is cause for revocation of license, confiscation of assets (subtracting funds owed to shareholders and holders of debt) and harsh fines levied upon the officers of said corporation.

5. A corporation is responsible for making a profit for its shareholders until such point this goal conflicts with the first four Responsibilities.

1. good idea now all we need to do is to make it law.
perhaps though we should include something about a corporation having no right to influence legislation or the government.

Though you're missing about 20 others ;)

I'd add something respecting their employees' rights.

4. Yeah, I wrote them...
And they were meant as a jumping off point.

I'm sure there's a lot more that can be included.
