Being an expert on ancient Rome, (I watched BOTH seasons of HBO'S 'Rome'), I am reminded of how Caesar would plunder Gall, let the soldiers have first choice of the spoils of war, the booty, the swag, and then let the people themselves pick through the rest. The people got a share of the war profits, and were simple, easily pleased citizens for the most part. (except the slaves).

Would it be horrifically inappropriate to ask our 'leaders' if we the people can have our share of the trillions of bucks being made by the slickster war profiteers in the military/industrial complex?

After all, it's our relatives doing the fighting and dying, our sons and daughters, moms and dads, nieces and nephews, WE should get our share of the monstrous war profiteering money, the neo cons couldn't even have their masturbatory war without our hard earned tax dollars, we should get a return on our investment.

I propose a flat payoff at the end of every year, right before Christmas, say 200,000 bucks or so, and we'll stop protesting, marching, and generally whining about the war.

Whaddaya say congress? Cut us in on the deal and we'll let you keep your phony baloney jobs, stop being so fucking greedy and git up offa summa that bling homeys.
