Is tinfoil hat going mainstream?
Edited on Wed Jul-25-07 08:47 AM by marmar
:tinfoilhat: Within the last week, Paul Craig Roberts (a Reaganite) has warned that no one should be surprised if BushCo cooks up some "false flag" incidents in its desire to invade Iran. ....And U.S. Rep. Pete DeFazio of Oregon, after being shut out of a meeting, said: “Maybe the people who think there’s a conspiracy out there are right.” .......

:scared: Just 'cause you're paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get you.:)

2. Well the "tinfoil hat" in quotes wasn't to indicate that that term was used by either of them....
but I removed them for the punctuation-obsessed.

4. Do you wear the kind that looks like a giant, tinfoil-wrapped Chocolate Kiss?
Or have you come up with a different design?

Personally, I favor the simple, classic design:

NEVER make your cat wear tin-foil like this guy did.
The cat is NOT happy!

8. Well, let's put it this way...

...when people bellyached about aspartame, I thought they were just moaning and groaning because they were paranoid.

But then, I found that book, Citizen You! that was a darkly humorous critique of the times we're were living in. There's a section at the back, the "Burn this section" section, that, amongst other things, explained things about aspartame that I didn't know. Things like what aspartame did when it was broke down by your digestive tract. The word "formaldehyde" was used somewhere in there, I think.

But still I laughed it off. After all, the authors of that book were hardly scientists, at least as far as I knew.

But then I found out that aspartame's approval for human consumption was facilitate by someone who was put in the FDA by someone who headed up Bush 41's transition team...this fellow named Donald Rumsfeld...against a history of sketch tests.

Now, can you trust a single thing that Rummy ever said?

Would you put something in your body that a protege of that man said was safe?

I am now trying to keep my beverage intake down to water, coffee, and the occasional surfeit of Vitamin R (rum, that is). And for artificial sweetening I use Sweet'n'Low, if I use anything at all, because, hey, it should have killed someone by now and it hasn't.

All of a sudden, I feel myself thinking like the people I used to mock–mostly because I don't know who to trust anymore.

It's like someone once said: When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro (wasn't that Raoul Duke?).

Well, things certainly are weird, now.

12. I've been after the Mr. for years
to stop with the toxic diet sodas, I showed him all that stuff long ago including the info about Rummy. Yesterday, on the front page of our newspaper was an article about how harmful it is, how even the diet pops cause diabetes and many other health problems (which he has...) and about the formeldehyde.

He finally said he wouldn't drink any more and I hope he can do it this time. I know from watching his struggles to give it up how addictive it is as well.

Please consider using stevia instead of sweet n low. None of those fake sugars are safe or healthy.
