...(and understanding, straight up, that this is not a personal back at the original poster)
In Re: Hillary Clinton–I grow weary of the lack of stones of people about Clinton. Geez, people, either you like her or you don't. If she was the only Democrat up there I'd vote for her. She may have the taint of sin but she's not evil.
In Re: Barack Obama–After GWB, inexperience shouldn't be an issue anymore. On Obama's
worst day he's ten times as smart as the pResident.
In Re: John Edwards–I grow weary of the attitude that, since he's rich, he doesn't have sincere sympathy for poor folks. On the current landscape, if you're poor and you don't have rich allies you're poor
and screwed. It ain't fair, but there you are.
In Re: Joe Biden–my enduring memory will be his proclaiming Fredo the "real deal". You want out of touch? This fellow has the gall to ask me, as a Democrat, to support him? Please.
In Re: Chris Dodd–Who?
In Re: Mike Gravel–I was encouraged by him until that Mike Malloy interview. Now I wouldn't vote for him for County Assessor.
Now, directly to two points the original poster made:
Frankly, the two best candidates we could have put up in '08 aparently aren't running--Al Gore and Wes Clark.
...
Note: Any of the above names are head and shoulders above any of the Republicans and I will support whoever the Democrats nominate and enthusiastically.
Truer words ere have been spoke. I'm completely down with that.
