Think about this: "Bush aides to face contempt citations." They finally got the right word.

And not just because of legal terminology.

Contempt is what this administration has been showing for
not only the Congress of the United States, but for the
people of the country as well. If ever there has been a
regime in North America since the end of the colonial era
in 1783 that ruled WITHOUT the consent of the governed, it
is this one.

I'll let others (Nance Greggs, are you out there?) do the
specifics and lay it out, as I am pressed for time right now,
but I find the term "contempt" just so VERY appropriate.

So, yes, Reps. Conyers, Waxman, and Pelosi, cite them for
contempt, but never forget that they have shown contempt
not just of your august body, but of every citizen and non-
citizen living within our borders. Granted, you can't cite
them for that.

But we can--and we do.
