1. The tubes are LEAKING!!! |
|
A simple solution to this mess would be to charge RIAA and MPAA with terrorism and send them Guantanamo for wasting taxpayers dollars with their stupid corporate vendetta against anyone who doesn't like paying $20 for the latest Norah Jones CD.

2. So it's okay to let the giant corporations... |
|
...set up infrastructure that enables collusion and transfer of funds around the world...
...but allowing the Little People to communicate directly with each other and transfer bits and bytes they find of interest...
...somehow that is against National Security.
Well we all know what National Security is, as defined by our government: the advantage of the giant corporations. That is it in a nutshell. Once you figure that out, a lot of things just fall neatly into place, and the actions of our government in many arenas become more understandable.

5. Someone tell me - are these P2P networks using IP? |
|
Or do they have their own protocol? If they use IP, shouldn't a decent firewall solve the government security problems? How is this different from, say, NFS?

7. Well DUH!!! ...spin it however... but someone at HS just had an o-shit moment ... |
|
When they realized that we (you and I and others) can transfer any information we like between us and there is very little anyone can do to stop that. Add encryption to that xfer...and well... DUH !!! Your in the dark... Doesn't really matter what "agreements" you have with AT&T et al. to listen in... Public Key crypto pretty much takes the "Man" out of the equation. Let the revolution begin....
