Anger Management Instructor Arrested For Domestic Battery

GARY, Ind. (AP) - An anger management instructor is charged with domestic battery after his wife accused him of grabbing and beating her during an argument.

Reverend Robert Nichols has taught anger management classes for defendants in Gary City Court for several years. His contract has been suspended while the charge against him is pending.

The 49-year-old Nichols was arrested last week after a fight at home with his wife, Terresa Nichols.

Nichols' case will be moved out of Gary and a special judge will be appointed because of Nichols' association with the Gary City Court. Arraignment is scheduled for Friday in Crown Point.
