for these scripted photo ops with wounded soldiers, of his own making. He can't/won't attend a funeral service, how callous and unfeeling is that? But he sure enjoys mugging for the camera with those whose lives he has ruined. Yeah, sick and demented.

The possibilities are limited:

1. He knows these men lost limbs in a war that didn't have to happen. This makes him responsible and a criminal.

2. He knows these men lost limbs in a war that he consideres "necessary." This makes him responsible and insane.

3. He knows it's a photo op which makes him a criminal, insane, and a small, empty man who deserves to have his name forever cursed as long as decent people live.

10. The pretense of 'rewarding' them with his company is sheer narcissism.

It's the same self-elevating narcissism of a 'boss' generously awarding an Employee of the Month plaque - and an 'exclusive' parking spot. The person making the 'award' assumes a position SUPERIOR to the one being awarded ... it's sheer self-promotion.
