Let's not turn this into a Hillary bashing thread...I just want some opinions.
I have a question about some things she has said in regards to Iran:

http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2007/02/02/america/NA-GEN-US-Clinton-Iran.php

We all know she voted for the Iraq war, and because of that I have a fear that she might possibly want to launch a pre-emptive type war against Iran (that is unless Bush and Cheney get around to it first). What is your opinion? Am I just being a little paranoid, or are my concerns legit? I really just DO NOT want to see any more wars, I am sick of hearing of my fellow countrymen dying over in the middle east.

14. All 3 have said diplomacy 1st but all options are on the table repeatedly.

4. Her rhetoric sounds like Bush in that
she says no options are off the table. But I would hope that she, like her husband, would resort to diplomacy. An opening move of diplomacy is often to say no options are off the table, so that you have more negotiating room. The problem with Bush is that he meant it--I would hope Mrs. Clinton would mean it in the diplomatic sense rather than the Bush sense.

5. Iran is next on the neocon agenda.
This has never been a secret, just like Iraq wasn't a secret. If Iraq had went down a little easier,
about now we would be finishing up with Iran and getting ready for Syria.

She new what she was voting on and stands by her vote.

6. I wouldn't worry about that
Hillary would not follow the Bush pre-emption doctrine. She has said she wants to go the diplomatic route.

Iran is not looked at as a friendly ally by any of the top Democratic candidates.

but that doesn't mean they are going to start bombing Iran on day one of their presidency.

9. I have no reason to believe she'd do that...
Her position is no different on Iran than Obama and Edwards. But to launch a pre-emptive war? No, I don't think so.

then explain the connection between your username and your 'John Edwards' avatar to me. Where would John be if not for capitalism?

...maybe a few cruise missiles. That way, Lockheed Martin still gets paid.

12. Alright, maybe I'm just a bit paranoid.
You're all right, I don't think any Democrat would go bombing Iran unless Iran were to strike first. Like I said, I must just be war weary.
