Call and demand it: No vacation until contempt of Congress citations are passed!

3. Thanks
I think that, if enough people call, they could be shamed in to cutting short their August break. Soldiers in Iraq are dying. Congress can survive another week or two in Washington.

2. No. We must let them have their break.
And our illu$triou$ leader$ need$ their$.

And SO does the Iraqi congress.

And when September comes, they will all say they didn't have enough time...

To get past that Iraqi Oil Theft Law "Benchmark" yet.

How about 2009?

5. I would rather demand that Bsh doesn't take a vacation.
After all, the troops he sent to his war doesn't get one.
Why should he?

6. If only to preclude....
the chimp from making those bullshit recess appointments. We can't trust that asshole on anything. Let him know he is being watched 24-7.

7. Staying In Session = No Recess Appointments
The procedure it there to keep the House and/or Senate in session...more or less just keeping the lights on while they go home to catch shit from us, the voters, about getting rid of this criminal regime.

I'm more concerned about the recess appointments this shitstain tries to slip through. This is how we got Bolton and during the last recess, boooshie rushed through naming Fox, the slime boat scumsucker, as an Ambassador after his nomination was rejected in the Senate. I'm certain this asshat will try to fill vacant DOJ positions this way...and here's a way to keep that from happening.

8. its not a vacation
They will be doing plenty of work in the districts. It is a good time to try and meet with your congressman/woman.

9. Just an idea, just call them and see them while they are on
vacation while they at home, and bother the hell out of them. Let them really hear it they need too.
