I HAVE followed events very closely since the new gang was installed at No 10.

The most hilarious thing was when the new Home Secretary was asked who she blamed for the recent bomb attempts in London and Glasgow, and her reply was “the terrorists”.

Following on that, brother Brown said that the events in Afghanistan and Iraq had no bearing on the said bombing attempts.

Recently, I was asked to give a talk at the local school to a mixed class of pupils and the subject was World War II and afterwards, leading up to the present day. snip

The first question to a young girl in the front was: who did she blame for the recent bombings?

Answer: “the terrorists”. My second question was to a young lad – Why the terrorists? – to which he answered: “They don’t like us”. I followed up with a taller lad at the back, why don’t they like us? Answer loud and clear: “Because Blair invaded Iraq.”
