Reagan's Asst Atty General agrees impeachment |
|
Edited on Thu Jul-26-07 04:51 PM by Jack Sprat
is warranted for President Bush and VP Cheney. Many of you saw this on KO's program last night. The President is using Executive Privilege to shield his staff members from testimony. The Attorney General is loyal to the President instead of the U.S. Constitution. The President appointed the AG and refuses to dismiss him. Many of you are saying that the law will eventually prevail. But, the AG is the highest law enforcement officer in the land. And, the U.S. Supreme Court intervened in a state election to suppress a recount, which eventually led to the appointment of George Bush as president. "Why would anyone expect the rule of law to prevail when democracy has been dead and buried since Nov 2000?" I ask humbly.
