I'm a Liberal
I believe it's my duty to pay taxes.

I believe it's the government's duty to use that money responsibly.

I believe that the United States should be a place the rest of the world would want to emulate, not the kind of place they'd like to attack.

I believe that we should be spending our money on things that make the world safer, not haring off across the world to wage war on made-up enemies, or making new ones.

I believe that we need to conserve our most valuable resources, and look for ways to create new ones.

I believe that everybody matters, from the most high to the lowest, and that a truly free and decent country should look to the benefit of all of them.

I believe that ALL of America is a "Free Speech Zone."

I believe that the Executive Branch is answerable to the rest of us.

I believe that Congress was elected to represent the interests of the public, not lobbyists and special interests.

I believe that religion is a private matter between a human and whatever deity s/he acknowledges, or, none at all.

I believe that people have the right to live their lives without interference from government, or corporations, or anyone else as long as no one is harmed.

I believe that the sexual behavior of my neighbors is none of my business as long as it only involves consenting adults.

I believe this could be a better world if we paid more attention to fairness than to profit.

I believe America is worth protecting.

I believe we owe our children a better world.

I believe most people want that as well.

I believe I'll stop now.

I'm a liberal. And it's NOT a dirty word.

10. That's hardly "Liberal"
I'd call you "normal"

It astounds me how far right we've gone that most people would call your list otherwise.
