Freepers oddly quiet about the Pat Tillman story.

Funny with the thousands of articles about Pat getting
shot 3 times in the forehead by a M-16 @ less then 30
yards you would think that they might have posted something
about "it."

So Pat was against the war in Iraq, a free thinker, and in touch
with members of the anti war movement and now it looks like
he was murdered and his uniform and diary were burned .....
Where is the blind support the troops from those keyboard warriors
now?

1. What could they possibly say? They've already been shown as
knuckle dragging, conscienceless neanderthals. But even this one should be too much for even them to approve of.

2. The depth of this
explains bush's use of executive privilege on documents in this case.

3. Quiet?
Don't want you getting slammed in the way the "morans" do.

4. I've read two of the threads at FR and noticed one of the recurring responses
is that Tillman was killed in war, bad things happen in war, why in the world is his death more important than any other soldier that has been killed? Of course, that argument makes it even more suspicious that the White House has invoked executive privilege in the Tillman matter, but they seem to have conveniently forgotten about that.

5. Anyone who does not realize at this point what criminals we have running this country
are really too stupid to live. Deep down inside, they must know that they've been had. They're paying higher gas prices, those big tax cuts Bush gave them really didn't amount to all that much, and now we have this huge deficit which must be paid off.

Plus, many are seeing their house payments go through the roof, some are losing their homes. Many have lost their jobs to outsourcing, or have taken pay and/or benefit cuts.

You only have yourselves to blame, Republicans: you are responsible for inflicting this upon yourselves. Get smart and vote Democratic next time. And take a good hard look in the mirror next time you have a moment to yourself in the bathroom: you're looking at the face of a HYPOCRIT.

Congratulations, you should be ashamed of yourself. Just keep telling yourself you're doing it all because you're a good conservative Christian, and then consider all the things that you - personally - do that the Bible says is forbidden. You're no better than those you pass judgement on, which is another of your sins.

7. They don't care. Bush murders their hero. They'll defend it. You watch!

9. I almost never go to freep - land but I did today
searched Pat Tillman and got nothing current .... but
an old posting saying Pat's mom was just like Cindy S.,
for her "complaining."

Guess 3 shots in the head from point blank range
does not lend to the myth of the "Holy War" against
terror.

8. Obviously, Freepers have "better" things to discuss
Like how much they hate "muzzies."

There is one thread http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1872230/posts">here. It has a smattering of posts. This one was interesting:
To: BlackVeil; KoRn
this was odd --- did you see this section? and three in the head sure sounds like one dang bizarre case of an "accident"

No evidence at all of enemy fire was found at the scene — no one was hit by enemy fire, nor was any government equipment struck.

Of course there is plenty of technical talk about guns and gunshot wounds. The people with a clue about forensics have noted that a clean grouping of three shots indicates a well-controlled short-range hit. There is plenty of denial. I think that, yes, Freeperland is going for a head-in-the-sand approach here.
