WTF - am I in the Twilight Zone?

I finish up cementing a crown into this very nice patient of mine - we talk film, Philadelphia City politics - I'm feeling rather good abut things...for maybe 7 seconds...and I walk into my private office and see sequentially:

The Secretary of Defense talking with a frigging parrot on his shoulder

then

Cheney needs a Defibrillator replacement

then

Astronauts flying drunk.

This is just the most surrealistic existence one can imagine.

9. It's like to old show One step beyond combined with the twilight zone

It's surreal as the twilight zone and one step beyond where you can't tell what's real or what will happen next .

I feel like we go up and down with hopes that reach ones mind then are shot down the next day and replaced by some other form of newly discovered horror , whether it's a weak none binding act of some bush signing statement or veto threat or a executive directive to further take away our rights .

Keep to containment center lights on and the trucks ready to go .
