Funny encounter with a "Rocket Scientist" NASA this afternoon

A lot of NASA employees live in the general vicinity and I know quite a few of them. Saw one today in town and said you guys are really getting some bad publicity of late (drunk astronauts, contractor sabotage and the love spat still in ones memory.) He said, at least we aren't republicans.

That is quite telling. If we still have a democracy in 2008, I have a feeling Repubs will be considered lower than the worst criminal.

2. Now that I think about it

I'm not sure what he meant.

- republicans are getting bad publicity to, or:
- we'd rather be drunks and saboteurs then republicans

Actually is the truth "bad" publicity?

3. Repubs are well on their way

to, instead of becoming a "permanent" majority (Ha! :puke: ) , a very long-term minority after this debacle.

In the same way that they all ways yell "Carter," trying to mean worst president ever, we will now be able to answer "W" and he's oh so much worse!!
