Did Arlen Specter get kicked off of Air Force One?
Edited on Fri Jul-27-07 05:45 PM by cynatnite
PHILADELPHIA, July 26 — Guests of President Bush aboard Air Force One generally know that he expects them to behave in a certain way: No showboating or mingling with the on-board press corps and, certainly, no criticizing the commander in chief or his team.

Senator Arlen Specter violated both points of decorum on Thursday. He visited with reporters aboard the presidential airplane before it lifted off for Philadelphia and lambasted the attorney general.

3. Nope. Magic Bullet got the word from the Godfather.
He'll find a horse's head in his bed if he did.

4. NOTE: he was candid before the emperor arrived
After he arrived, Arlen retreated back into the seat cushions.

5. That's the role that Senator 'Dutch Law' plays in this administration.
He's the designated criticizer, because it lends the GOP credibility to have someone on their side 'lambasting' this or that aspect of the Bush Cabal.

But talk is cheap, and he'd never do anything to really hurt Dear Leader, so they let him get away with his carping.
