Wonder how many vacations FDR took during WW II

Bush* has said on numerous occasions this "War" we are in is the same as WW II and he even likened it to the American Revolution the other day. He has this "Big War" he is Prezidentin over and yet he can't ever seem to miss his vacation time...When added up I believe half of the time he has been in office he has been relaxing someplace, either Camp David or "The western whitehouse" or somepkace fishing...rather than at his office in the real Whitehouse..

1. FDR went to Warm Springs for polio therapy. Not to host barbecues for fundraisers.

Any time Bush goes away, I am grateful.

5. The problem with another dimension is that he would still be on this planet.

He could still travel to another galaxy and use up the fuel for the return. Maybe there is another Sun out there that would pull his spaceship into its gravity.

6. FDR used to sail. During some of his breaks he would use his sailboat

as a means to get away from Washington altogether and even visited with Churchill on the sly. At one time he had an aid pose as himself fishing from the deck of his sailboat while he was actually conducting foreign policy. Other than that, he visited Warm Springs where he had purchased land and constructed a not for profit center to help those with polio. He solicited money from the wealthy to keep the thing going and had his own cabin.

FDR has always been reported as a workhorse while in office. That combined with the rigors of polio and some bad habits may have contributed to his death. (aneurysm)
