Local Keep Texas Beautiful Affiliates and Texoma Council of Governments are excited to offer this opportunity to provide information to elected officials and residents of the region about the importance and advantages of improving their community environment and providing the tools to do so. The conference will highlight recycling, conservation and environmental enforcement issues. Sponsors, vendors, and organizations will be able to meet elected officials and residents of the Texoma region and surrounding areas and share their products and information about their organization.

The schedule for the event includes registration and exhibits from 8-9 a.m., 9-9:45 a.m. the city of Van Alstyne’s welcome and keynote speaker, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. concurrent sessions on beautification, education, and enforcement, including a distinguished panel of speakers emphasizing the efforts of environmental stewardship.

The day will finish with a tour to a local green-built home that features energy conservation in building practices and home features
