Katrina: 'Citizens died because US refused aid'
A new report reveals the US government turned down offers of help from across the globe in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, telling one diplomat "human assistance of any kind is not on our priorities list."

4. Yes, even Cuba had a medical team of 75 ready to go
and Bush turned them down.

(This information is from the Episcopal bishop of Cuba, who visited Minneapolis recently.)

6. Fish and Wildlife copters got there before any others

(or whatever they call that dept. in La.)

I remember seeing the copters work taking people off roofs. when the military got there they seemed to disappear.

I've never seen any report about the great work they did.

7. Not at all surprizing.
A soul-less administration responds accordingly. With a K&R, though, to underscore how tuly morally corrupt this country has become.
