Oh, you're gonna love this. Home Depot is now telling its customers that if you have the audacity to complain about BillOReilly.com's death threats against Hillary Clinton and suggestions of a terrorist attack against the US Capitol then YOU are the problem.

Here is the letter Home Depot is sending its customers:

Our advertising campaigns have one simple objective to communicate with audiences in the most effective way possible. The Company is receptive to many forms and styles of media as we seek a balanced representation of programming to reach our customer base. Unfortunately campaigns like this one cause us to take time away from our sustainability goals and address a variance of political views.

Get it? If you complain about Home Depot sponsoring Bill O'Reilly's hate, then YOU are hurting the environment because you're wasting their precious time.

Somebody in corporate communications is going to get fired.

1. That's okay
Lowe's listens.:)Let Home Depot continue their spiral into failure.
I never go there because I hate self-checkout because someone ended up losing their job over that contraption.

But, I have to admit. Home Depot had it right, once.
They hired retired plumbers and electricians and contractors.
When you went in and had a REAL question, by golly there was someone who could answer it.

Last time I went there, I was looking for a particular type of faucet and the high school kid looked at me like I was stupid for even asking him. I ended wandering the aisles until I found it myself.

2. Remember all the corporations that have pulled advertising in...
fear of retribution from the right wing? Remember when the networks would not air our commercials criticizing the Bush administration? Corporations have one goal, and that is to maximize their profit by any means, including funding conservative pundits and talkers who will put forward their message.

8. They still do it. Have you noticed that there are fewer BlogAds
on Progressive Sites?

Freeper hateville constantly talks about writing sponsors of progressive sites.

3. Simple. Choose with your wallet
This morning, my husband went to town seeking some screws he needed to put together a computer. He did NOT go to Home Depot, but rather to the two locally owned independent hardware stores in town. Found exactly what he needed.

7. My husband will not shop at Home Depot. He absolutely despises
the place. He's not real fond of Menard's either, but will go there if he absolutely has to.

Myself I prefer the local Ace Hardware store. Whenever I go in and ask for something no-one looks at me like I have two heads...

5. Well, boycotting them won't be a problem for ME.
I've never been too thrilled with the service I've received there. I have no real reason to go back. Lowes is right across the street and I've always received excellent service from them.

Screw Home Depot.

6. How's this for lack of sustainability, Home Depot: I'm shopping at Lowe's exclusively.
Is that a sustainable economic model for you?

9. Home Depot was founded by Arthur Blank who happens to own the Atlanta Falcons
He's worth 1.3 billion and if there is anything he loves more than being thoguht of as a great philanthropist it's making money (hence the non-release of Michael Vick).

10.  Home depot is one of the largest shit holes you can enter
The home of the chinese import backed bt cheap labor and outsourcing , these are cider block abominations set in almost every city or small town . Here we have massive oil peppered parking lots if you can find a space .

I was in one of these home depots , last week thinking I would find electrical parts , what a joke and I was lucky not to be killed in the process .

I hope they all go up in flames .

14.  I put them all in the same , can't say class in the same sentence
so how about nightmare .

All of them including office depot or staples are nothing more than the same sort of cinderblock abominations , the same crap products from China and the same lousy service whether it is toxic partical board , warped wood , cheap phones and low paid workers who hide rather than face the horrors of the day working in endless noise and chaos .

They are the killers or all resource and knowledge we used to have from small independant shops .

I was absolutely physically ill once I entered hame depot last week . It was illness of chaos , anxiety and the sheer size of these places .

I saw it coming but never knew they could grow these buildings from seeds overnight .

It has involved even pet shops and music shops like guitar center and petco , the home of the dying or dead animals .

The only stop in these stores where someone can be found is at the cash register .

They are to cheap to even give the guard at the door a stamp for your receipt , instead he runs a groove with his thumb nail .

Many people seem to be addicted since they are always packed in the parking lots .

I tell ya , we are doomed .

12. I like ACE hardware
The people who work there, at least by my house, are older and know what they are talking about. They actually help you. We have some new ACE hardware stores going into rather large spaces, like former supermarkets. I think they are beginning to move on the market and offer an alternative to the "Box" stores by providing actual customer service and a competitive selection.

15. I wrote to Home Depot and said:
I need 60 watt bulbs.
I need garbage bags and cleaning fluids.
I need several new sink fixtures.
I need two new chandeliers and nuts and screws and hooks
and spackle and paint and blue tape and enough tarps
to cover the floors while I'm painting every room in my new house.

Please stop advertising on FOX News so that I can stop driving
the next town and giving them all my money.
