Ronald Reagan wanted a name for the new land based intercontinental ballistic missile

called the MX for missile- experimental, so the drugstore cowboys decided to call the

new missile the "peacemaker".

There was a big debate as to how this new system was to be deployed:

In special trucks

but my favorite was the idea of putting many missile silos close together and call

it "densepack", which some wags nicknamed "duncepack".
