This doesn't even count the slow suicide many of our vets commit by drinking,drugs,and risk-taking behavior.What have we done?

Meaning, is this the number of suicides that take place in the field or are the ones that happen after the soldiers return added to the mix?

I suspect that number is way underreported because it's bad.

They don't take care of PTSD, one of the major killers. Current estimates are around 30% of the 1.6 million vets who have served in Afghanistan and Iraq have PTSD to some degree.

They don't track numbers of people injured by depleted uranium. According to DOD, depleted uranium is harmless.

They don't track the numbers of veterans who are homeless. It's around 30% of an estimated 975,000 daily.

They don't want you to know.
